Resolving Communication Mistakes

"Rectifying and Clarifying Mistakes" will teach you how to use effective verbal communication to resolve misunderstandings. We’ve all encountered miscommunication at some point. As speakers, we may say the wrong words and unintentionally confuse or offend others. As listeners, we might misunderstand or mishear a message. Rectifying involves correcting a mistake, while clarifying means making something clearer. By rectifying what we’ve said, we can backtrack and rephrase our message. By asking for clarification on what we’ve heard, we can ensure we understand the message correctly.
