Understanding Communication Breakdown
Communication and Why It Sometimes Fails explores the communication process and examines what happens when it breaks down. When we speak clearly, use appropriate mediums, and listen attentively, communication typically works well. However, as you’ve likely experienced, this isn’t always the case. Sometimes, the sender may provide unclear information, the message might not be delivered through the most effective medium, or the receiver may struggle to understand and fail to seek clarification. These issues can lead to a breakdown in communication and result in misunderstandings.
